The Qnap TVS-472XT-4G NAS tower is equipped with an Intel Pentium Gold G5400T dual-core 3.1 GHz CPU and 4 GB DDR4 RAM (2x 2GB) to make storing and controlling your data fast and hassle-free. Thanks to efficient hardware and software optimization, the CPU can deliver stable and reliable everyday performance even under heavy load. The two PCIe slots offer optional expandability allows for graphics cards or 40GbE/ 25GbE/ 10GbE adapters to increase application performance.

Easy assembly
The bay contains four slots for 3.5-inch SATA 3 hard drives. The HDDs/SSDs are accessible through dedicated front bays.

Redundant storage
The bay allows you to setup your HDDs in RAID 1 configuration to create data redundancy. This means that two HDD become an exact copy of each other, and so data transferred to HDD 1 is simultaneously mirrored to the HDD 2. It creates a safe-guard net for your data, as if HDD 1 fails, none of your data is lost as it is securely backed up on HDD 2. Intelliversioning technology keeps the most important file versions to better utilize storage space.

Qtier 2.0 technology
The Qtier technology helps with efficient data management and optimization through auto-tiering that automatically moves data between HDDs, 2.5-inch SSDs and M.2 SSDs based on the data s access frequency. Qtier 2.0 features IO-awareness that empowers SSD-tiered storage with a cache-like reserved space to handle burst I/O in real-time, to maximize the SSD performance in real-life applications.
